I have just received an application for USAA scholarship after I said yes to be appear on their yearbook. However, I didn’t pay for the yearbook because I felt like it maybe a scam. The fee to apply is $6. It is not much, considering winning the award will grant the applicant $10000, but only 400 people will receive the award. I wonder if anyone out there received this award AND got the money.

I would like to start a scholarship fund for military families. Not just any military families, but gold star families. These are people who have lost a mother or father to war. I want to start a fund to help the children of these families go to college, but I have no idea how to set up a scholarship fund. How do I set one up?
