Part 2
I wanted to do the online MBA program from the University I’m graduating from FAU. Do you think the Navy would approve that or do I have to pick a University on their list? Also what is an MOS that would be closely related to finance of business, supply officer?

That’s great! I was worried I wouldn’t have a chance to get my MBA in the military. Two of my friends joined as officers and I was getting different info. My friend who is a Captain in the Marines says you will have zero time to study in the corps. The one in the army says I will have time to study but the military only approves schools that are on a special list.

I work for the Navy’s voluntary education program, known as the Navy College Program. Members of the U.S. Navy pursue degrees through many different schools, including state supported colleges, private non-profit colleges, and proprietary schools. There are many funding sources for active duty personnel, including Tuition Assistance, Graduate Education Voucher, and Post 9/11 GI Bill. You would have a chance to work on your MBA and could pick a school. First 2 years for a Navy officer very hectic

Are there any …
Are there any non-profit public schools available? Or are they all for profit institutions like phoenix? I’m thinking about joining as an officer this year and getting my MBA while I’m in but I would prefer to attend a state university. Devry and all these other schools just want you’re money and when you are finished you have a diploma worth less than toilet paper.
