A &quot;taxable scholarship&quot; is one that pays for more than just your classes, but the GI Bill is not considered a &quot;scholarship&quot; in the first place (its a federal grant).&lt;br&gt;&lt;b&gt;References : &lt;/b&gt;&lt;br&gt;I am a licensed CPA with 5 years of tax prep experience that used the GI Bill to get through college</description>
