This is very interesting rare color footage. Shows a lot of the after effects of combat and other aspects of the war either rarely or not shown at all.

This nonsense of …
This nonsense of blaming a transition of a nation because people think they were supposed to be like someone else is sick and is the reason why there are a lot of troubles in the world as we speak. To be US one had to have the exact circumstances that US had; In Russia didnt exist. BUT time will dictate matters and eventually Russians will reach their own destiny withoud having to have slaves. I hope.. LOL.

The USA sent over …
The USA sent over 9,000 tanks, over 14,000 aircraft, and nearly 500,000 4 and 6-wheel drive trucks and jeeps to the USSR, but these weapons didn’t start arriving in large quantities until mid 1942. Before that, vital machine tools, metals, field telephone cable, , ~40-60% of explosives used in tank & arty. projectiles, armor plate, etc. were sent. Stalin & Zhukov both stated the economic aid was vital & without it the USSR may have been forced to ask for a truce.

Think again. Do …
Think again. Do you understand the mass amount of aid ranging from gun ammo to aircraft made soley for the Russians that came from the USA. Had Moscow fallen, the Russians would have lost not just a city but a key strategic location/government offices and access to the North sea where all the supply came from the west pured in.

The US did send …
The US did send Shermans and Valentine tanks to the Soviet Union, but those tanks were seriously hated by Soviet troops, since they burned the most and the crew could not escape in time.

The US however sent …
The US however sent trucks and jeeps, and food maily Spam. In no way did they ever send weapons. the USSRs military production during world war 2 in guns and artillary was the highest. This was one major factor as to why after ww2 the Soviet Union emerged as a superpower. As it was able mass produce military equipment fast hence the name “the big red machine”. Whitout the allied support in ww2, it would of taken longer and more caualties for the soviet union to win the war.

England was in no …
England was in no condition to be sending any type of aid to the soviet army as they themselves were trying to recover from the Battle of Britain, during which they started to run out of iron and steel to make fighter planes such as the Spitfire. They would take iron fences from neighbourhood parks and stadiums because they were short of supply and melt them to make planes and parts for damaged planes. The US was sending Britain aid.

Russian forces are …
Russian forces are not the French and won’t give up that easy. Throughout Russian history, russian forces start to win battles after the capture of Moscow. In 1812 Napolean fought and captured Moscow… and we know how that turned out. With scorched earth tactics and mass retreat the french army wasted resources and men for nothing. The same thing could have happened again. With winter setting in and supply lines the german army would gain city debris with little ammo and almost no fuel.

Okay sure german …
Okay sure german forces stood 20 miles from Moscow but even if Moscow fell the german forces shouldn’t hold thier breath for a surrender treaty. At the time all of the tank/airplane/metal refining factories were moved to east of the Ural mountains, out of reach of the Luftwaffe. The soviet forces would just continue the fight from there. Also you have to remember soviet people would just get off even more at the fact of the capture of the city.

In effect Hitler …
In effect Hitler couldn’t capture the Soviet Union in 1 month or 2 months or 3 months. He failed to see what if the war was to be longer and how do the conditions change? Sure winter helped but “General winter” was an obstacle to the Wehrmacht because Hitler failed as a commander to forsee it and not because it happened. Winter will happen especailly in a northern country like Russia. The red army just exploited the bad situation the german forces were in during the Winter of 1941.

The Soviet Union …
The Soviet Union was not France because its people weren’t about to wave the white flag and sail to the UK. The German army had never tried to capture a country the size of the Soviet Union. Blitzkreig tactics worked until resources became stretched and that’s why the germany army had to stop thier attacks to wait for supplies to reach the front lines losing precious time. The partisan movement didn’t help either supply lines over large distances couldn’t be guarded as well over short distances.
