Is the house the primary residence, or is it rental property? If it's rental property, it may be seen as an asset and maybe that's why you're getting that information. It doesn't hurt to apply, especially if after looking at the eligibility factors you qualify. I don’t see anything that lists if you live in Irvine you won’t be eligible. Is the house the primary residence, or is it rental property?
